Choose Upper Egypt if totality and dry climate dominate

The practical trade-offs are extreme summer heat, demand pressure and the need for careful transport planning.
Weather mobility matters in both
The strongest plan is not “Spain” or “Egypt” by itself. It is a base with multiple safe, reachable alternatives. A fixed event package with no mobility can be a weaker eclipse plan than a flexible independent trip.
